I transferred to the University of Calgary (Canada) in September 2016, receiving my Ph.D. in August 2020. Marc Ereshefsky was my dissertation supervisor.

Since then, I work with Ford Doolittle (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) and Letitia Meynell (Philosophy) at Dalhousie University, Canada. Our interdisciplinary research is documented here.

In January 2022, I start as a lecturer in philosophy at the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. There I will be part of Egenis and the Department of Sociology, Philosophy, and Anthropology.

Outside work, you can probably find me watching world cinema, playing music, or traveling.

I was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. There I did my B.A. and M.A. in philosophy at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.

Around that time, I was also a visiting scholar at the Universität des Saarlandes and the Universität Duisburg-Essen, both in Germany.

In 2014, I started my doctoral studies at the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, under the supervision of Thomas Reydon.
